Ibiza - April 17-18, 2009The Workshop on the Future of Web Search is a follow-up of the highly successful workshops that took place before in Barcelona, Bertinoro and Andorra. This year the workshop takes place at the Congress Palace of Ibiza, in Santa Eularia des Reu, which is located 20 kms from Ibiza's international airport.The main objective of this year's workshop is to bring together key researchers in the field of Semantic Search.
The 1st International Workshop on Mining Social Media will be held will be held in Sevilla, Spain, in November 10-12th; under the frame of the 13th Conference of the Spanish Association for Artificial Intelligence (CAEPIA-TTIA 2009).
The goals of the workshop are to intensify the exchange of ideas between different research communities to enable the design of tools for creation, analysis and visualization of complex information networks. The workshop focuses especially on researchers that are working on methods for representation of complex knowledge resources, (dynamic) data analysis methods, semantic networks, and visualization methods as well as user interface design.
