@mastersthesis{2016-Giovannangeli-Internship-UC3, abstract = {This report describes the design of a heuristic algorithm using a simulation on MATLAB®/Simulink® to successfully steer a crane model based on an experimental system which is the “The Loading Bridge PC60”. This work will be principally used for didactic purposes in order to carry out some practical works for the students. Two different models of the crane, a simplified and a complex one, were developed to obtain a simulation on MATLAB® /Simulink® . So that, it is possible to collect some necessary data to implement the heuristic algorithm. For the simplified model, the physical laws of mechanics were applied to deduce the mathematical model. However, for the complex model of the crane, a complete simulation on SimMechanics® , a extended software of MATLAB® /Simulink®, was designed. The main parameters of the used models are defined in order to fit the real system’s ones. A summary of the tests carried out on both models so as to validate them is detailed in this report. Based on the results achieved, a first heuristic algorithm is designed using the Least Mean Square (LMS) approximation to seek for the optimal steering functions.}, address = {Universität Kassel}, author = {{Giovannangeli}, Florian}, interhash = {60e6b0f40582a76b8da8f8652b8acbf4}, intrahash = {4a40f19a62f68977dc5ecfb4484cf4a5}, language = {Englisch}, month = {August}, mrtnote = {education}, mrtnr = {171}, owner = {duerrbaum}, school = {FG Mess- und Regelungstechnik}, supervisor = {Univ.-Prof. Dr.-Ing. In order to gain a better understanding of the expectations and requirements users of Internet archives are likely to have, this report identifies and specifies a number of possible usage scenarios of an Internet archive. Attempts at predicting usage of new technologies are by nature uncertain and likely to miss important applications. The list of usage scenarios presented in this report should thus be considered an opening statement in an ongoing dialogue with relevant user groups. It must always be considered that access will very much depend on the legal foundation of each web archive. This report, conducted by the Access Tools Working Group of the IIPC, relates to the Prototype report that is based on some of the usage scenarios and attempts to illustrate what interfaces may be needed by developing mock-up prototypes of the functional components suggested by the use cases.}, author = {{Access Tools Working Group}}, institution = {International Internet Preservation Consortium}, interhash = {e80a41d4c512ded4c37b4618bde86e1f}, intrahash = {55f72dcd8e1b4a526023fe861ce90f47}, month = may, title = {Use Cases for Access to Internet Archives}, url = {http://www.netpreserve.org/resources/use-cases-access-internet-archives}, year = 2006 }
