The papers are classified using a framework based on the activities defined in the ISO12207 Software Engineering standard. Two alternate classification schemes based on the programming language under analysis and target application size are also discussed. The program allows users to navigate email using a visual lattice metaphor rather than a tree. It implements a virtual file structure over email where files and entire directories can appear in multiple positions. The content and shape of the lattice formed by the conceptual ontology can assist in email discovery. The system described provides more flexibility in retrieving stored emails than what is normally available in email clients. The paper discusses how conceptual ontologies can leverage traditional document retrieval systems and aid knowledge discovery in document collections.}, author = {Cole, Richard J. and Eklund, Peter W. and Stumme, Gerd}, comment = {alpha}, interhash = {48bdafb15aa8650ee735074d7ae449ca}, intrahash = {473f5c2cca394fac0de61086082a09de}, journal = {Journal of Applied Artificial Intelligence (AAI)}, number = 3, pages = {257-280}, privnote = {alpha}, title = {Document Retrieval for Email Search and Discovery using Formal Concept Analysis}, url = {http://www.kde.cs.uni-kassel.de/stumme/papers/2003/AAI03_emails.pdf}, volume = 17, year = 2003 } @inproceedings{cole01browsing, author = {Cole, Richard J. and Eklund, Peter W.}, bibsource = {DBLP, http://dblp.uni-trier.de}, booktitle = {Proceedings of the 9th International Conference on Conceptual Structures (ICCS 2001)}, crossref = {DBLP:conf/iccs/2001}, editor = {Delugach, Harry S. and Stumme, Gerd}, ee = {http://link.springer.de/link/service/series/0558/bibs/2120/21200319.htm}, interhash = {ea752bef21a1ebc9bf84902cf63d646f}, intrahash = {b1766800de4cbd87627ae00f3798bee5}, isbn = {3-540-42344-3}, pages = {319-332}, publisher = {Springer}, series = {Lecture Notes in Computer Science}, title = {Browsing Semi-structured Web Texts Using Formal Concept Analysis}, volume = 2120, year = 2001 } @inbook{tilley05survey, author = {Tilley, Thomas Alan and Cole, Richard Jeffrey and Becker, Peter and Eklund, Peter Werner}, booktitle = {Formal Concept Analysis: Foundations and Applications}, editor = {Ganter, Bernhard and Stumme, Gerd and Wille, Rudolf}, interhash = {a3a35a3b8b9ac35f2be1949df9f007d7}, intrahash = {e4fb96788d548a25417c5d0e056bff8a}, pages = {250-271}, publisher = {Springer-Verlag}, series = {LNAI}, title = {A Survey of Formal Concept Analysis Support for Software Engineering Activities}, volume = 3626, year = 2005 } @inproceedings{CES00, author = {Cole, Richard and Eklund, Peter and Stumme, Gerd}, booktitle = {PKDD 2000}, interhash = {cb5f455f6cd3e7e54c07e2c7c0405af9}, intrahash = {0be83a19cd56270c11d22b3589ee4641}, isbn = {3-540-41066-X}, pages = {367--374}, publisher = {Springer}, series = {LNCS}, title = {{CEM}-Visualisation and Discovery in Email}, volume = 1910, year = 2000 }
